Afield experiment was conducted during 2009-10 at Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) to study the dissipation of fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride as combination product in/on tomato. Three sprays of a ready mix formulation; fluopicolide 6.25% + propamocarb hydrochloride 62.5% were carried out at 7-day interval starting from the fruiting stage @ 93.75 +937.5 g a.i.ha~(-1)(T1) and 187.5 +1875 g a.i.ha~(-1)(T2). Residue analysis on tomato fruits revealed initial deposits of 0.42 and 2.06 ug g~(-1) for fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride, respectively, at recommended dose (T1). The corresponding levels at higher dose (T2) were 0.82 and 5.01 ug g~(-1). The residues of fluopicolide and propamocarb hydrochloride reached below determination limit on 7th day at recommended dose of application with half-life values of 3.58 and 2.45 days, respectively. Soil samples collected on 20~(th) day revealed residues of fluopicolide only at 0.06 and 0.55 ug g~(-1)for recommended and double dose, respectively.
