Chinese refiners are maximising output of jet fuel, which is more profitable than gasoline or diesel, according to Argus China Petroleum. However, this is leading to oversupply at home and lifting exports as producers look to regional markets to sell surplus fuel.' Chinese jet fuel net exports rose by 28% to 30,000 b/d in the 10 months to May, the period since Beijing changed the way in which jet fuel prices are set.
