Parking Wars provided a lighthearted look at a serious business, writes Mark Moran Tension and conflict over parking spaces provided the drama in the latest run of Parking Wars on ITV. For this third series, the Century Films production team toured the country looking at places where parking restrictions and new payment regimes were causing concern among motorists, local businesses and visitors. The camera crews followed local authority civil enforcement officers (CEOs) as they patrolled the streets in different parts of the country. Reports from Hereford, Romford and Havering revealed how the CEOs sought to engage with the public in a polite and positive manner. In contrast, many of the motorists were less than polite.
