Gas Cleaning System

摘要

Dry separation of dust particles in the blast furnace top gas before wet scrubbing are commonly done by a gravity dustcatcher or most recently by large diameter cyclones. The objective is to remove as much dust as possible in dry condition for reuse and recycle. The recycled dust must also be low in Zn and Pb content to satisfy the limits of blast furnace zinc balance. Operating results show that the cyclone dustcatcher is an efficient and effective device for minimizing handling and disposal of zinc contaminated blast furnace sludge.
