In the midst of the country's recession and economic troubles, the USGBC - Nevada Chapter continues to grow and progress. Our membership has more than tripled in the past year. Both the Southern Nevada branch in Las Vegas and Northern Nevada branch in Reno continue to attract members with a wide variety of experience and knowledge. Thanks to the generosity of our Friends of the Chapter and Event Sponsors, the Programs Committee has successfully held numerous educational events in the past year. We've enjoyed some of the most informative speakers in the Southwest, including Barry Giles, William McDonough, Pacific Institute representatives, several government officials, various LEED rating system educators, and everybody's favorites, the LEED Case Studies.
