Annual Fellowship - 'Change is Inevitable, Accepting the Challenge is a Choice'

NSA Chief Executive, John Thorley, was recently honoured as the first recipient of the RAC/Rumenco Annual Fellowship in Beef & Sheep. In his address, entitled "Business Challenges and Opportunities for the Sheep Sector", he drew on a life time's experience. In his characteristically provocative and factual manner, he highlighted a number of salient points drawn from a very comprehensive written review of the current situation in husbandry, marketing and politics, making recommendations for the future. Some of his comments and challenges are noted here.
