PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship secular change estimation method, a ship secular change estimation system, an optimal sea route calculation system, and a ship operation support system, allowing for improvement of accuracy in calculation of an optimal sea route for a ship by accurately estimating, using navigation information of actual navigation of the ship, secular deterioration and deterioration in propulsion performance due to fouling in the optimal sea route calculation for the ship.SOLUTION: The ship secular change estimation method is provided in which the navigation information of the actual navigation is accumulated and a secular change in the propulsion performance of the ship is estimated on the basis of the accumulated navigation-time information. In the ship secular change estimation method, wind information, wave information, navigation information, engine information and maneuvering information which are included in the navigation-time information are used and these pieces of information are subjected to calculation processing by a multiple regression analysis, so that the secular change of the propulsion performance of the ship in navigation is estimated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
