Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) players are expecting a firm roadmap to get established with the implementation of a national level GST (Goods and Services Tax) that will be shared between the Centre and the States in the forthcoming Budget. Mr. Dalip Sehgal, Managing Director, Godrej Consumer Products, says, "Early implementation of GST, I strongly believe, is of utmost importance for the FMCG sector. Announcement of a definite date for the implementation of GST as also the definite rates for both Central and State would be beneficial.
