The Freescale Semiconductor MMA8451Q is a 14-bit 3-axis accel-erometer with a built-in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and a plethora of embedded functions.The acceleration transducers are MEMS (Micro Electromechanical Systems) technology which combines on-chip nano-scale mechanical parts with electronic components.
