Motion-Adaptive Edge Compensation to Decrease Motion Blur of Hold-Type Display

摘要

A method to decrease motion blur and improve moving image quality of hold-type displays such as AMLCD, AMOLED or LCOS projectors is proposed. The method does not increase large-area flicker on displayed pictures and can be realized with a simpler signal processing than motion-compensation methods.
