The second of March saw the formal opening of Seafood Cooking School Marlborough - the first dedicated seafood cooking school in the South Island. The school is based in the heart of the vineyards at the rustic and well known Cellier Le Brun winery just past Renwicktown on the Blenheim-Havelock Highway. Although the Cellier Le Brun winery and restaurant will be the venue for the actual cooking classes, segments of the course will include field trips to discover more about seafood in terms of how it is produced (salmon, mussels, oysters), where it comes from (all of the rest) and how to make selections.
