Company Profile: Benxi Iron & Steel

Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) is the second‐largest steelmaker in northeast China’s Liaoning province. It is a part of the Angang Group, in 2010 China’s fourth‐largest steelmaker by crude output. Bengang Steel Plates, which controls around half of the group’s crude steel capacity, is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SHE:000761).
