Company Profile: Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Group (Magang)

Based in central China's Anhui province, Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Group (Magang) was China's eighth-largest producer of crude steel in 2012 according to the China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) and one of the few large Chinese steelmakers with captive domestic iron ore mines. As Magang is a state-owned company, most of its officials, especially its executives, are Communist Party members.
