The London Metal Exchange's physically delivered billet contract will either be scrapped or amended, with the bourse admitting it is "looking at options." It saw only 28 lots traded in 2015, a 98% decrease from 1,404 lots the previous year with the tonnage down to 1,820 mt from 87,048 mt. The contract currently has zero open interest.
