摘要

In this paper, the study of electrochemical processes occurring on the positive FeS2 electrode innonaqueous electrolyte is continued in order to optimize the characteristics of the Li–FeS2 battery. The methodsof galvanostatic cycling and X-ray phase analysis were used to study electrochemical processes occurring on acomposite FeS2 electrode in liquid nonaqueous electrolyte at discharge and further cycling. A two–stage pro-cess mechanism is observed at discharge of the FeS, electrode and its further cycling. It is shown that Li2Sformed in the process of FeS2 electroreduction is oxidized under further charging.
