摘要

Some 2,5-disubstituted-6-thio-1,2,4-triazolo-[3,2-b]-1,3!4-thiadiazoles have been synthesised by cyclisation of 5-aryloxymethyl-2-(N-phenyl thiocarbanilido)-l,3,4-thiadiazoles with bromine in carbon tertrachloride, and 5-substituted ary 1/aryloxyme-thyl-2-(phthalomidomethylamino)-1,3,4-thiadiazoles have been synthesised by reflux-ing a mixture of 2-amino-5-substituted ary 1/aryloxymethy 1-1,3,4-thiadiazoles with phthalimide and formaldehyde in ethanol. All these compounds have been assayed for their herbicidal activities against Echinochloa oryzicola, Echinochloa crusgalli, Oryza sativa, Glycine max and antifungal activities against Aspergillus niger and Pyricularia oryzae.
