Agency releases guidance on oil and gas workplace safety rule

Washington - The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement on Oct. 24 issued a Notice to Lessees that includes guidance for offshore oiland gas operators to comply with the Workplace Safety Rule. The rule, issued in October 2010, requires operators to implement a safety and environmental management system by Nov. 15.
