Salem, OR-The number of workplace deaths in Oregon declined slightly in 2013, according to preliminary figures from the state's Department of Consumer and Business Services. The data, released March 19, shows 29 workers died on the job last year, a decrease from 30 in 2012. That compares to 28 deaths in 2011 and a record low of 17 in 2010.
