OSHA praises role at WTC site before house subcommittee

OSHA performed admirably in protecting workers after the terrorist destruction of the World Trade Center on Sept.11,2001,an OSHA official said in testimony to Congress.In testimony Oct.28 before the House Subcommittee on National Security,Emerging Threats,and International Relationships,which is part of the Committee on Government Reform,OSHA Regional Administrator Patricia K.Clark said OSHA is proud that "despite the highly dangerous rescue and recovery mission at the WTC,there was not one fatality".
