For its fiscal 2009 (period ends 31 March 2010), the Agricultural Chemicals business segment of Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd has reported sales of yuan 211.5 billion (yuan 222.2 billion for its fiscal 2008), operating income of yuan 25.9 billion (yuan 24.4 billion), and capital expenditure of yuan 23.1 billion (yuan 11.2 billion). Shipments of feed additives and herbicides remained solid.
