For its fiscal 2010 (period ends 31 March 2011), Agricultural Chemicals segment of Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd has reported sales of ￥215.7 billion (￥211.5 billion for its FY 2009), operating income of ￥22.2 billion (￥29.2 billion), and capital expenditure of ￥12.2 billion (￥23.1 billion). Shipments of feed additive methionine and of the long-lasting insecticidal mosquito net, OLYSET Net, increased steadily.
