Multidisciplinary Investigations of the Black Sea Ecosystem: The 100th Expedition of the Research Vessel Professor Shtokman

The expedition lasted from March 5 to April 4, 2009. Deputy Director of the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Dr. Sci. Biol. M.V. Flint was the head of the expedition, while Captain YD. Ershov commanded the ship. Researchers of the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences from the Atlantic, Southern, and Northwestern Departments of the IO RAS and the Institute of Microbiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences took part in the expedition; the total quantity of participants was equal to 40 people.
