Suncor's Petro-Canada unit is helping its Canadian staff leave Libya after its output was slashed in apparent retaliation for Ottawa's disapproval of the celebrations that greeted the freed Lockerbie bomber on his return to Libya.Oil Daily understands that Libya's National Oil Corp. (NOC) has halved output from the Petro-Canada fields to around 45,000 barrels per day from the normal 90,000 b/d. That has cut the Canadian firm's 12% take to just 5,400 b/d.
