The recovery of oil prices in the first half of this year has made drilling marginal oil prospects profitable again, thereby improving the outlook for the oil services sector. Analysts at Deutsche Bank said anecdotal evidence points to a revival of interest in the Bakken Shale oil play in the northern US and in some stalled international projects.
