Indian Oil Professionals in Demand in Foreign Oil Destinations

Oilmen from India appear to have become much in demand outside the country including in the oil rich Middle Eastern region, Africa and South America. Profession talent such as those retired from mainstream Indian oil companies are in the forefront. A database of 5,000 executives, mostly from Oil & Natural Gas Corp, has evoked a lot of interest abroad, government and industry officials said. These executives can also be employed in Indian joint ventures with foreign firms as the have long experience in specialized areas of the industry. The list of executives, which was recently shared with global oil firms, included those who superannuated since January 2009 and those who will retire this year.
