Manmohan Singh Challenges His Summoning in Talabira II Allotment Matter

The Congress party has staunchly defended ex-PM Manmohan Singh who has been named as an accused in the coal scam matter along with Kumarmangalam Birla and PC Parakh. The Supreme Court will take up for hearing on April 1 the former prime minister's petition challenging his summoning by the special court in connection with the allocation of a part of Talabira II coal block to Kumarmangalam Birla owned Hindalco.
