BPCL Seeks to Mop Up $2 Bn. via Medium-Term Note Programme

Downstream PSU Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL), plans to raise $2 billion (roughly 12,282 crore by January 28, 2015 rate) through a medium-term note programme. Medium term notes generally mature between five and ten years. In an exchange filing on Wednesday, January 28th, BPCL said it had set-up a Medium Term Note (MTN) programme "to facilitate the raising of funds on a regular basis from the international debt capital markets.
