摘要

Results of works on optimisation of the process of cold rolling the Cu-DHP copper tubes and the MNZ101 copper-nickel tubes using the KPW75VMRK pilger mill have been presented. Analysis of the results obtained was made in order to determine working conditions of the pilger mill tools so as to increase their life. Negative effect of both corrosion and stress concentration on the life of a roll pass surface, and consequently on the surface quality of the rolled tubes, have been found indicating the necessity to improve methods for the tools preparation.
