MATERIAL ANALYSISOF RESISTANCE SPOT WELDING ELECTRODE TIPS

摘要

The work deals with material analyses of welding tips for resistance spot welding. Microstructures of most used alloys of Cu for welding electrodes of resistance spot welding were evaluated. Alloys of CuCr1Zr, CuCoBe and CuBe2 are used for spot welding electrodes. In the article, analysis of influence of alloying elements and production technology of the alloyson final properties of electrode materials is presented. The producers concentrate on receive the maximum lifetime of welding tips on which many factors have influence during welding process.
