摘要

Screening with ultrasound for fetal growth restriction (FGR), which increases the risks of stillbirth, neonatal death, and other poor fetal outcomes, has become a common prenatal care in Canada, France, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, as delivery induction can help avoid these outcomes. Few studies, however, have considered the effectiveness of this screening, and many studies do not include infants with normal birth weights. In the United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Canada, only women with risk factors for FGR are recommended to have an ultrasound. This study aims to investigate the effect of a system that routinely performs third-trimester ultrasound to identify FGR on obstetric and neonatal outcomes in France.
