It is surprising how much information is contained in this small book. The content covers a wide range of topics including the use of some 'heavy duty' equipment such as pugmills, more basic Information about making biscuit tools and templates, and clearly explained step-by-step projects using a variety of techniques that produce very effective products. Even though there Is such a broad spectrum of information the book is very 'user-friendly'. The layout makes it easy to find what you need, the chapter headings are clear and there is a short but useful index. The language is easy to understand with technical details at a minimum (but present when needed). The author has used photographs to clarify the stages of each process acknowledging that '...it is very easy to assume that people know what you mean…'. I heartily agree and found the photographs not only added clarity to the process but also enabled me to pick and choose rather than read the whole chapter.
