A History of the World in 100 Objects, a recent joint project between the BBC Radio 4 and the British Museum, consisted of a series of 100 radio programs broadcast over 20 weeks in 2010, each focusing on one object from the museums collection. Each 15 minute episode, written and presented by British Museum director Neil MacGregor, highlights history through discussions of humanity's long relationship with handmade objects.
