摘要

An amorphous powder was prepared by cohydrolysis of Ti(OBu)_4 AND Al(OBu)_3.According to the results of thermal and X-ray phase analyses,its calcination at 933-1573K results in separate crystallization of corundum andrutile,which above 1593 K eact t form tialite .Prolonged annealing of tialite at 1473K results in its decomposition into a mixture of #alpha#-Al_2O_3 and TiO_2.Thus,in the examined temperature range (873-1653 K)tialite is a metastable phase,adn materials based on it cannot be used for a long time at these temperatures.At the same time,the dependence of the specific surface area of the composite powder on the annealing time at 933 K suggests the possibility of its ong-term use (for seveal hundreds hours) as a catalyst or catalyst suport.
