摘要

In heavy-duty automatically controlled multifunctional machine tools, servo drives mounted on columns or on a gantry are used to move the operational components. The use of gear - rack transmissions permits greater motion of the operational components (more than 4 m) and high speeds. We know that the gaps in the servo drives and their inadequate rigidity impair the performance productivity of the multifunctional machine tool, especially in milling, when the cutting forces may exceed the frictional forces in the hydrostatic guides.
