12.5% rise in China's SR output

Following the boom in automotive and shoemaking industries, China's synthetic rubber output exceeded 3.1 million tonnes in 2010, representing a YoY increase of 12.5%. The import volume of synthetic rubber accumulated to 1.6 million tonnes, approximately half of the domestic output, according to China Synthetic Rubber Industry Report 2010-2011.
