Do POTS AND business GO together? Everyone has to make a living, but to outwardly treat pottery as a money-making venture still seems to be an inelegant abuse of the craft. Few potters have the luxury of rich patrons, indeed of anyone, and self-promotion is often the last thought after the pots are made. It's almost as if selling is a dirty word - much like in the 19th century when being in trade was the last word in vulgarity.
