Some number-theoretic identities from group actions

We apply group actions to some natural situations like the natural ‘linear’ action of GLr (Zn) and some of its subgroups to derive numbertheoretic identities like t1∈(Zn),t2,···,tr ∈ZnGCD(n, t11, t2, ··· , tr ) = φ(n)σr1(n).
