Quebec City, QC - Quebec's brewers and Recyc-Quebec have extended their agreement on stewardship for non-refillable containers for another two years, with the government agency holding the option to extend it for a third year.The agreement sets clear recovery targets for non-refillables. Recovery achieved in 2000 will be established as the baseline figure. For 2001, recovery must hit baseline plus .75 percent. For 2002, recovery must hit baseline plus 1.5 percent. For 2003, recovery must hit baseline plus 2.25 percent.
