In 2012 this will be my 30th year visiting Japan selecting, buying and shipping koi to customers around the world from the area of Niigata. Some people may say that the last 30 years has seen the greatest development in koi in Japan since it's beginning this may be or not be true? But we can look back at the last 30 years and see the way the koi industry and hobby has grown and changed, so the question I ask myself is what will the next 30 years bring us? And what have we all learnt in the last 30 years to make the koi scene even better for the next 30 years?
