Separation of Polyvinyl Chloride from Plastic Mixtures Using Dry Gravity Concentration

摘要

In order to separate PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) from the plastics of packaging waste efficiently, NKK developed new sorting technology having both characteristics of air-table and air-jig. This technology has many benefits such as, simplicity of the process, applicability for mass separation and no-need for waste-water treatment. In this paper, the separation efficiency of PVC from hard plastics, film plastics and plastics of packaging waste using the technology is reported.
