Improved Trace Level Determination of Methyl Acetylene and ropadiene in Hydrocarbon Streams Using the Varian Select CColumn for MAPD

The following article describes how the new Varian Select GC column for MAPD delivers improved results for the determination of Methyl Acetylene (MA) and Propadiene (PD) impurities in light hydrocarbon streams. By using an advanced surface deactivation process to improve column inertness, the Varian Select GC column for MAPD provides higher absolute responses and more consistent response factors for polar, reactive hydrocarbons.
