摘要

Food analysis represents a significant research field due to the increasing consumer demand for safety and nutritional excellence.A sample preparation method suitable for food analysis must be able to isolate analytes present at trace levels without the introduction of artefacts.Recently solid-phase microex-traction (SPME) has become a method of choice in food analysis due to its low cost,reduced solvent use,simplicity,short preparation times and adequate sensitivity and selectivity characteristics.Recent advances in SPME include the development of cold fibre SPME and thin film microextraction,both of which are suitable for the extraction of analytes from complex food matrices.
