Regional biotechnology industry group-ERB1-have concluded at a network meeting that god financial management is vital if biotech companies are to avoid'wrongful trading'.Wrongful trading-where a company's assets are nor sufficient to pay its debts at the time of liquidation-is a danger as companies are forced close to the wire in order to meet added value.However after the debate at an ERB1 network meeting it was concluded that an integrated approach to financial management could provide an eady alert to the situation.
