摘要

The antioxidawnt efficiency for two new chalcones isolated from El Salvador's jpropolis:2',3',4-trihydroxy-4'-methoxy-chalcone (BH_2) and 2',3'-dihydroxy-4,4'-dimthoxy-chalcone (AH_2) were determiend by analyzing the kinetics of oxygen consumption in SDS micellar systems.The results demonstrated that AH_2 and BH_2 showed moderate chain-breaking activities higher than naringenin,but lower than caffeic acid,butylated hydroxy toluene and DL-alpha-tocopherol.
