EIA: Shales Key to Production Growth

The emerging shale plays in the US could drive natural gas production between now and 2035.That's the conclusion of a new federal Energy Information Administration study released last week that shows US natural gas production will be pushed by the shale plays and the expected production flowing to the lower 48 from Alaska's North Slope.
