Elnik falls to predator

US furnace builder Elnik Systems, rumoured to be under threat since the early summer, has been taken over by a German concern that formed a company in America specifically for that purpose. PVA MIMtech LLC, based in New Jersey, was established in early October by PVA Tepla AG of Asslar, Germany, and acquired the entire assets of Elnik from the insolvency estate of IPM Inc of New Jersey later that month. PVA MIMtech will continue manufacturing the former Elnik's line of debinding/sintering furnaces. DSH Technologies, an affiliate, shares space with the new company and will continue to provide metallurgical and turnkey production processes.
