An investigation was carried out involving 13 CMS lines of rice at Zonal Agricultural Research Station (ZARS), VC Farm, Mandya to identify traits contributing for stability of CMS lines at different environments (sowing dates) during rabi I summer andkliarif of 2002, which represent all possible sowing dates durign a year. The results on stability analysis indicated significant interaction of CMS lines with environments for all the characters studied. No single CMS line was stable for all the characters. However, the CMS line IR 58025 A was found to be stable for LAD, TDM and NAR. Whereas, IR 68862 A and IR 6886A were stable for number of panicles per plant.
