This year's conference was held at The Stamford Grand Hotel, Glenelg, South Australia with the theme of "Casting a Greener Future". The conference was well attended with delegates from all states attending and a good number of delegates from overseas The technical sessions were based around practical foundry knowledge with the highlights being the seminars by Jim Archibald and the Australian Ductile Iron Producers Association. Interspersed between these seminars were papers on energy saving and environmental topics.
