Green Tax Incentives Still Available Although Cash Grants Not Extended

Over the past several years, the renewable energy industry has enjoyed increasing growth, thanks in large part to the provisions available through the 1603 cash grant program. Under this program, energy projects found it much easier to fund the completion of projects. When the 1603 program was not extended, this left a gap in the financial resources available to new renewable energy projects, and created additional challenges for those attempting to complete projects already in progress. The days of the bridge loan secured by a 1603 grant are over.
