Considering a green roof for your facility? Now is the time to capitalize on its benefits. Last year, the state opted to extend its property tax incentive for green roof development until June 30, 2019. An abatement of $5.23 per square foot of a green roof is available up to a limit of $200,000 or the tax liability for the entire building in the year you claim the green roof credit. Applications are due by March 15, 2018.
